The Market At Grelen Fall Wedding | Rainy Wedding Day | J and E | Wedding Photographer in Somerset, VA and Orange County, VA

Fall is always a favorite season for many couples to get married. When it comes to fall wedding color schemes, I think about colors that reflect the season like dramatic moody hues and earth tones. A lovely combination of pumpkin orange, terracota and cream for this fall wedding color is truly a seasonal favorite.

Burnt orange bridesmaids’ dresses definitely look beautiful! I love these mix-and-match bridesmaid dresses. The touch of dusty sage color mixing in burn oranges of the dresses work really well just to soften the overall look of the orange color. The dried flower bouquets are full of orange, cream and green. The wedding cake and boutonnieres look simply beautiful with pumpkin orange flowers.

Earlier in the day, the bridal party got ready in Spotswood Lodge which was a comfortable and relaxing space for the bridal party. The ceremony and reception was held in The Market at Grelen, and the details were perfect for a fall wedding. The couple exchanged vows amidst the lush greenery of the enchanting Greenhouse at the venue. Their beautiful wedding reception took place under the Orchard Overlook clear tent with twinkling lights and iron chandeliers.  It poured rain on the entire wedding day but it truly did not matter at all, everyone had so much fun at their wedding.

I had the pleasure of working with Samantha Martin as a second photographer for this beautiful couple’s wedding. Enjoy my favorite photos!
